Through Rose s career she has gone through periods of both extremes and lows, but every victory has been hers. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. She won the fight by technical knockout within 3 minutes in the initial round. It was the first time a woman competed for a title title with any major organization worldwide. Namajunas won a number of bouts following this victory, that included beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win resulted in Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
